Dell’s New Mobile Internet Device

Engadget’s got the scoop on Dell’s answers to the Eee PC and Macbook Air.  Internally, the company is called them the Dell E (8.9″ screen) and the Dell E Slim (12.1″ screen).  I am really happy with the proposed specs for the E Slim: Atom, WXGA, with up to 9 hrs on the battery, but I’ll probably replace the custom candy Linux “Blacktop” with something more nerdy.  August/September can’t come soon enough; my poor Gateway is physically falling apart.
